ISO Certifications

World Resources Company and WRC World Resources Company GmbH recycling facilities in Phoenix, Arizona; Pottsville, Pennsylvania; and Wurzen, Germany are the first in their industry, worldwide, to achieve both ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications. This accomplishment affirms the quality and demonstrated effectiveness of the companies' policies, procedures, and processes that ensures all of their products are manufactured under well defined quality and environmental management systems.

The certification under the provisions of ISO 9001:2000 confirms that formalized checks and balances are in place to maintain high-quality processes, from receipt of raw materials through the production of finished products. The successful implementation and maintenance of this system assures a systematic approach to all aspects of quality planning and performance.

The ISO 14001:2004 certification confirms that the procedures used by World Resources Company for handling and processing of environmentally sensitive and hazardous materials meet internationally recognized standards of performance.

Our new Taiwan, R.O.C. facility, inaugurated in the fourth quarter of 2007, is expected to complete its ISO ceritifications in 2008.

These certifications are the result of independent auditing and testing by an internationally recognized body and demonstrate to employees, customers, the local community and other stakeholders that the company is practicing sound product development and environmental policies.
