World Resources Environmental Policy

One of the Company's founding principles is that each generation is the custodian, rather than the absolute owner, of the world's resources, and has an obligation to pass on that inheritance. It is, therefore, the environmental policy of World Resources Company to conduct all aspects of its recycling business as a responsible steward of the environment, in order to help protect the earth and its inhabitants and not compromise the ability of future generations to sustain themselves. This policy integrates principles, programs, techniques, and practices into a dynamic environmental management system that guides the Company's managers and staff in the performance of their duties.

To carry out this policy, World Resources Company will:

1. COMPLY with all applicable laws and regulations;
2. EMBRACE environmental management through the commitment of its Management and Board of Directors;
3. COMMUNICATE this Environmental Policy to all employees and the public;
4. CONSERVE energy and materials and recycle, where possible;
5. STRIVE to eliminate pollution through process improvement;
6. EDUCATE and TRAIN employees to work in an environmentally responsible manner;
7. SEEK new methods and technology developments to improve the Environmental Management System;
8. DOCUMENT environmental protection improvement objectives, and track their achievement;
9. UTILIZE systematic environmental performance evaluation procedures;
10. AUDIT and REPORT the company's environmental performance to the Chief Executive Officer;
11. IMPLEMENT any corrective actions necessary to protect human health and the environment;
12. ASSESS potential impacts to the environment before commencing new business activities;
13. PLAN for emergency situations through established preparedness and response procedures;
14. ENCOURAGE responsible environmental behavior by suppliers and contractors;
15. PRODUCE products that will not harm humans or the environment when used for their intended purpose;
16. SUPPORT continuing improvement in our environmental performance; and
17. SHARE new and improved environmental protection technology with industry and the public, to the extent consistent with competitive consideration
